first_img Share EducationLocalNewsSecondary DFA donates footballs to 12 secondary schools by: – February 19, 2014 Sharing is caring! 98 Views   no discussions Tweetcenter_img Share Share Dominica Grammar School Sports Teacher (left) receiving the footballs from DFA PresidentThe Dominica Football Association (DFA) donated eleven (11) footballs each to twelve (12) secondary schools across the island.President of the Association, Glen Ettiene presented the footballs to the sport teachers at a press conference on December 18, 2014 at the Football House in Bath Estate, Roseau.The twelve schools are Pierre Charles Secondary, Orion Academy, Convent High School, Wesley High School, Dominica Grammar School, Isaiah Thomas Secondary, Goodwill Secondary, Portsmouth Secondary, North East Comprehensive, Castle Bruce Secondary, St. Martin Secondary and the Dominica State College.“We’ll be making a presentation of footballs to all the secondary schools who will be participating in the secondary schools women football competition in collaboration with the Dominica Football Association and the Sports Division,” public relations officer of the DFA, Gerard George said.Sports Teacher of the Orion Academy (left) receiving the footballs from DFA President, Glen EttieneOnly four schools who were represented at the ceremony were Pierre Charles, Orion Academy, Wesley High School and the Dominica Grammar School.The other schools can collect the balls at the Football House.
