Volleyball By KILA NAO The Freeway Hawks volleyball team has been blessed with receiving two sets of uniforms and balls from Security Plus and Shoreline Technology Limited in Port Moresby yesterday. Shoreline Technology Operation manager Vele Kwanu said it was a very first time for the company to come good at giving its support to sports. “This year marks the company’s 10th anniversary of operation and behalf of the managing director Carl Ven Den Haspel, we are happy to sponsor the Freeway Hawks team as part of our community obligations incentives. “It is our first time to sponsor a team and we feel that we have done the right thing at giving support to young people, “Sports play an important role in human development making the players’ minds occupied and getting the best results in the end. “I encourage the players to play to the best of their abilities which eventually take them to the next level,” said Kwanu. Freeway Hawks Head coach Clive Bonga expressed gratitude to Shoreline technology and Security Plus for their timely sponsorship that will go a long way. Bonga said finding sponsors is very difficult and for that he thanked this company for giving its support to the club. “I also want to thank our senior player Maguli Bernard for securing this sponsorship. “It is a family club based at Hohola Three and has always been the forefront of the Fairfax Volleyball Association already winning 10 premiership titles in the men premier division. “The new uniforms and balls will surely boost our team spirit and we look forward for another successful season this year,” said Bonga.
